What Worked
PAS: Benoit v. Rob Conway was a fine Six Flags OVW main event. Working 50/50 with Conway says undercard though. I am excited for a Regal and Beniot undercard tag team, too bad the Armstrongs aren't around for them to feud with. They could trade those guys to Smackdown to mix into the Bashams v. FBI Velocity feud, that would be fun.
TKG: 50:50. that was more like 70; 30 with Conway dominating. Yeah the Regal/Benoit team should really be traded to Velocity where all the good tag matches take place.
PAS: I liked the fargo strut, nice shout out to Keirn working gorilla. Micheals looks paunchier and balder then current Stan Lane though.
TKG: Its about time they aborted the Kane/Lita angle. I was kind of hoping they'd wait till the next joint brand PPV so at least Kidman could turn heel by SSP her into stillbirth. Dean Malenko should have also felt her up on the gurney, to maintain continuity and maybe set up that match. Kane is a PWF-gumi alumn. It might work.
PAS: I imagine Gene Snisky should have a nice ECCW run against Dr. Luther working as the Abortionist. Maybe he could get a Portland Lucha run against Pierroth.
What Didn't Work
TKG: Wow Heyman is a GENIUS. Every single match on the show had same layout. 20 minute angle setting up IMPROMPTU match joined in progress.
TKG: Abdullah didn't jump out of the box. It doesn't work.
PAS: Outside of the Fargo strut that match was ugly. Tomko has a nice clothesline which HBK sells by checking his hair plugs. Captain Charisma is a better shitty gimmick name then CLB.
TKG: I know they lost their guy that does PPV promos, did they also lose their head director? This match was filled with close ups on guys calling spots. Close-up, spot call, wide shot spot executed. Again and again. Kane comes out to work a jobber who is almost as tall as him? Kane is supposed to be 7 feet tall. Is the jobber supposed to be 6'10". They can't find a short wrestler on the indies????And Vince comes out with his old man who shat his pants strut to announce another new promotion restart. They're restarting again??? New season? How do you have a new season of a show that runs all year?
PAS: I was excited to see WWE get hit with a big fine for running unlicensed boxing. I wanted a stripper to get Brakkused, cheap bait and switch bullshit.
